Thankyou, I don't think that in this country, we are ever ready for these snowy conditions. The main roads were gritted, so driving is ok.

Thankyou all for the great comments you left about this picture. They are actually my youngest sons footprints. We don't get snow like this that often, and when we do, it normally melts after a day or two. This is a little unusual where I live, but I love it, (although it is disruptive).

It's strange seeing that view covered in snow, I'm used to seeing the green valley's whenever I see England !!!!! I like the green better. Great shot though : )

Pretty snowy view - I think the whole of the UK is covered with snow - that doesn't happen very often!

I love ice macros.

I'm sure it will be fine when the thaw finally comes. On a few occasions recently, I've walked into branches of trees that would normally have been 6-12 inches above my head had they not been laden down with snow.

i love to see trees under snow, it looks always so lovely
